API 5CT N80 casing coupling is a connector for N80-grade casing used in oil and gas wells. N80 is a mid-range steel grade defined by API 5CT, offering a minimum yield strength of 80,000 psi (551 MPa). It is heat-treated for enhanced strength and toughness, making it suitable for medium to high-pressure wells.
N80 is available in two types: Type 1 (standard carbon steel) and Type Q (quenched and tempered for improved performance).
